This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the mobile application "CheCam" ("the App"), provided by KOBE DENKI KOGYO K.K. ("we," "us," or "our"). This document outlines the distinct data transmission differences between Free and Premium plan users to ensure transparency and trust.

1. Data Collection and Usage

CheCam is built on a "Privacy-by-Design" philosophy, allowing you to use the App immediately without creating an account or registering personal information. We do not collect directly identifiable personal data such as your name, email address, or phone number. Below are the details of the data processed by the App to provide and optimize our golf swing analysis services.

(1) Golf Swing Video Files (Raw Video Data)

For Free Plan Users: All golf swing videos recorded within the App are stored 100% locally on your device. They are never transmitted, uploaded, or stored on our servers. This architecture prevents any risks of video data leaks and limits server-side storage overhead.
For Premium Plan Users: For secure backup, seamless restoration upon app reinstallation, and multi-device synchronization, your raw swing videos are securely uploaded and stored in our encrypted cloud storage (Firebase Storage) using secure HTTPS (SSL/TLS) protocols.

(2) Golf Swing Metadata (Practice Notes, Timestamps, Club Types, Favorite Flags)

We process lightweight metadata to build your personal swing calendar ("My Logs"), optimize side-by-side slow-motion synchronization, and support your self-coaching habits.

This includes practice notes/comments written by the user, swing timestamps, favorite flags, and selected golf club types.
To ensure smooth performance with millisecond-level rendering even at driving ranges or indoor bays with poor cellular signals, this metadata is securely cached on your device (CoreData/SQLite).
Once an internet connection is established, the cached metadata automatically and asynchronously synchronizes with our secure cloud database (Cloud Firestore) in the background.

(3) Payment and Transaction Data

All in-app purchases, including premium subscriptions and extra analysis tickets, are processed 100% through Apple Inc.'s secure App Store In-App Purchase system. We never collect, see, or store your credit card credentials, bank account details, or security codes.

(4) Usage and Technical Diagnostics

To maintain our 100% crash-free rate, fix critical bugs, and analyze marketing funnel metrics (such as CPA and ASO optimization), we collect anonymous, non-identifiable technical logs.

Anonymized behavior statistics via Firebase Analytics (e.g., custom events like `paywall_viewed`).
Crash diagnostic data, including device model, OS version, and stack traces associated with errors.

2. Data Security and Confidentiality

We enforce strict, bank-grade encryption to protect all swing videos and metadata uploaded by Premium users. Data in transit is protected using SSL/TLS (HTTPS), and data at rest is secured via robust AES-256 encryption. Our system architecture strictly ensures that none of our employees can access or view your private swing videos without your explicit permission.

3. User Rights and Data Deletion (Right to be Forgotten)

You retain full ownership and control over your golf swing data.

Local Data Removal: You can permanently delete all local cache files, including swing videos, comments, and favorites, simply by uninstalling the App or choosing "Clear Local Cache."
Automatic Cloud Data Erasure: When a Premium user cancels their subscription and downgrades/reorganizes their account to the Free tier (which is strictly local-only), or uninstalls the App, all video files stored on our cloud servers (Firebase Storage) are automatically and permanently deleted. This zero-cloud-footprint design for non-subscribing users guarantees maximum data privacy and eliminates any residual data on our servers.
Unfavoriting Behavior: When you uncheck the favorite icon (★OFF), the respective raw video becomes subject to standard automatic storage cleanup and will be auto-deleted as you record newer videos. If you attempt to unfavorite a swing containing practice notes, a system alert will warn you that your notes will be permanently erased, requiring your explicit confirmation.

4. Disclosures to Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or share your swing videos or metadata with any third parties under any circumstances. We will only disclose your information when legally compelled to do so by a valid judicial warrant or governmental decree.

5. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features (such as the upcoming Phase 2 analysis tickets), App Store guidelines, or global privacy regulations. Any updates will take effect immediately upon being posted within the App or on our website.
